About Me
I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist based in Cornwall offering online therapy sessions. I am fully accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I have been practicing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy since 2013 and completed my Cognitive Behavioural Therapy training at the University of Exeter which is where I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology.
Life doesn't always go to plan. Divorce, children leaving home, retirement, career changes, bereavement, or simply feeling like you've lost your sense of purpose can leave you wondering who you are now and what comes next.
Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I help you understand how these life changes can affect your thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Together, we'll identify the patterns keeping you feeling stuck, anxious or low, and develop practical strategies that help you regain confidence, adapt to change and move forward with clarity.
You don't have to simply "get on with it." You can learn to cope differently, feel more like yourself again, and build a future that feels meaningful.
Perhaps everyone else thinks you're coping. You're holding everything together, carrying on with work or family life, but inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed, lost or unsure of who you are now. Maybe your confidence has disappeared, you're overthinking everything, or you're grieving the life you thought you'd have.
I am to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you feel comfortable talking openly about what’s been happening in your life. Together, we’ll work to understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours are connected and identify practical strategies to help you move towards the life you want to lead.
My approach is collaborative - you are the expert on your life, and I bring evidence-based CBT knowledge and guidance. We’ll work as a team to develop realistic, achievable goals, helping you build resilience and confidence that lasts beyond therapy.
Whether you're looking for support with divorce, separation, empty nest syndrome, retirement, career change, anxiety, stress or adjusting to a major life transition, I'm here to help you navigate change with greater confidence and resilience.
